At the event, Cummins Chongqing was also looking toward the future with its zero-carbon goal strategy, launching the latest R&D achievement of its multi-fuel platform – the 19L methanol version product. This model uses low-carbon fuel technology to achieve high thermal efficiency in the engine. The design of key components for alcohol resistance and corrosion protection further enhances the overall reliability of the machine. Plus, the innovative cold start technology overcomes the challenges of starting with methanol, allowing it to start normally at temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees.

The cylinder head gasket of Cummins' multi-fuel engine uses a large number of common components in the following sections, while the gasket and its upper part are designed differently based on various fuel characteristics. This allows for coverage of multiple product series, providing customers with a choice of multi-fuel platforms—whether it's advanced diesel or alternative fuels, such as natural gas and hydrogen options.
The newly launched methanol version models, with their excellent performance and environmental adaptability, are ideal power systems for applications in mining, engineering machinery, power generation, and marine engines, helping users reduce operational costs and assisting the industry in achieving carbon neutrality.
